Day, Sunshine!
As we make our way toward Summer you can look forward to some
new classes and more Good times at the Center. Please read
carefully and pass our newsletter on to those whom you feel
may be interested. These neww classes are designed to invite
more of our community to join in Health and Wellbeing. I
understand, as I have been told so, that not everyone wants to
do Yoga, and there are myriad ways to reach your fitness
potential. Good old fashioned exercise is back in style, and I
have some unique and FUN ways to move your body, so read on
and get ready to put yourself "Through the Mill!"...

Yoga's Not Your Thing?
Midi returns to her roots as a fitness
trainer and sheds NEW LIGHT on working with your
body. As a personal trainer and group fitness
director for 16 years befor ebecoming a Yoga teacher, Midi
helped hundreds of people reach for their various fitness
potentials. Armed with more than ever before she looks
forward to reaching out again to those who are looking for
something other than Yoga with...
Define Your Body We will teach you not only
how to move your body, but why and when. You are guaranteed
to develop not only a leaner, more fit physique, but you
will also come away from sessions with an awareness of your
body that will enhance ALL of your daily activities. Your
heart and lungs will also benefit!
We will be outside, when the weather is fair, and inside
working in the areas of cardiovascular, strength and
flexibility training. The ideal fitness regimen
addresses each of these three areas equally, so we will
spend about 20 to 25 minutes on each! This class
WILL whip ANY body into shape. There will always be
modifications for everyone that will include not only taking
it down a notch, but also ways to get MORE.
Classes will last 60 - 75 minutes, no longer!
Childcare will be provided.

Classes will be held Mondays, beginning June 30th,
at 9:30 am and can be purchased in groups of ten or you can
drop in anytime.

Directly after our Define Your Body you
can Find and Refine Your Abdominals - 15 -
20 minutes of movement that will help you to get to know and
strengthen your belly. So much low back pain is caused not
only by weak abdominals, but by our lack of connection to
this area!

A "Wordshop"
with
Kathleen Meneses
Saturday June 21st
The words we repeat in our heads and what we tell the
world literally create our lives... consider Descartes'
phrase on existentialistic philosophy, "I think,
therefore I am". Our internal dialog creates a
vibration that is sent out into the universe and manifests
in the world.
Many of us are programmed with automatic negative thoughts.
They come naturally, without effort and shape our lives
significantly.
We have the potential to transform these words to create
Good, beauty and success in our lives. Come and
learn how to change your life and attract what you truly
want by gaining knowledge and direction of and with
the words you use everyday.
In this workshop we will investigate how words have shaped
your life thus far, and how through re-programming our
thought patterns, creating personal affirmations, setting
intention and developing consistent faith you can
change your life to reach your highest potential.
Deep breathing exercises and slow, meditative yoga
flow prepare our hearts and minds to receive this teaching
and incorporate it into our daily lives.
The cost of this program is $30.00 and you
MUST register by June 15!

I wish you knew just how excited we are to be doing this
for the fourth year in a row! Our whole
family looks forward to it, and we are glad to have you.
Studies and personal experience show me that we
are happier, healthier, more loving and more fun to live
with when we practice Yoga, and adults are not
the only ones who reap these benefits. Children are even
more receptive to them! Learning about the philosophies
and principles that yoga embodies gives kids the tools to
become better brothers and sisters, better
students, and healthier kids all around. I have
seen first hand just how even a little bit of Yoga can
bring the VERY BEST out of ANY child. A child who
knows Yoga knows their worth, their strength, and their
place in this world.
We should all DO MORE YOGA!
No other activity that you encourage your children to do
will bring so much to their daily life. The knowledge they
acquire during their time here, along with the discipline
that yoga encourages will surely be carried through and
into adulthood.
Your child will learn about nutrition and
making better food choices. They will learn how to tap
into and appreciate their physical abilities, enhancing
self esteem and body image, and they will be presented
with opportunities to move through social situations with
confidence and skill. All of these lessons will help in
school, in their other extra-curricular activities, and at
home. But most of all they
will have FUN!!!
The children will be getting GOOD doses of the GREAT
OUTDOORS! We search for creatures and other
Wonders of Nature as we hike the trail and creek,
we grow things in our garden and learn to build stuff
and sew stuff...
Registration for camp has begun!
The cost for the camp is
$190.00 per child -
ask about sibling discounts!
Half days available for littler ones who may not be
ready for a whole day away. Ask about our morning and
afternoon sessions.
